More specifically, the 200 medley relay team featuring Grant Bochenski, Ty Spillane, Daniel Wilson and Frederik Rindshøj claimed second-team All-American status following their time of 1:23.29 at the national championship. Collier Dyer also earned second-team All-American status by finishing 10th in the 1M dive. Overall, Missouri sent 11 athletes to the NCAA Championship meets. During his fourth year with the Tigers, Hayden led the men's team to a 17th place finish at the NCAA Championships. Graduate student Jack Dahlgren earned First Team All-America accolades in the 200 back and 200 free, while four other swimmers earned All-America honorable mention honors in various individual events. All of Mizzou's relays had top-20 finishes at the championships, including the 200 free which earned honorable mention All-America honors. Freebairn joined the Tigers after helping lead the University of Akron to back-to-back Mid-American Conference Championships in 2022 and 2023. Prior to joining the Zips, she spent a year as the head coach of Swim Waipa in Cambridge, New Zealand. During that time she was selected as coach of the National Regional Development Squad for Swim Waikato. From 2018-20, Freebain served as an assistant coach at Washington State. During her tenure, she helped guide four Couguars to Olympic qualifying times, three athletes to school records and 21 to top-10 program times. Assistant Diving Coach
Drew Sheldon is in his first season as an assistant dive coach at Missouri since joining the program in July of 2023. In his first year with the program, Sheldon led four divers to the NCAA Zone Diving Championships. There, Collier Dyer, Kamryn Wong and Tomasso Zannella all punched ticket the national championship. Dyer would ultimately claim second-team All-American status by finishing 10th in the 1M dive, amassing a score of 382.15 in finals. Hailing from Davidson College, Sheldon began his career with the Wildcats in August of 2019 and signed as the first-ever scholarship diver in the school's history, launching the team with zero divers on the roster. Sheldon was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week and earned the accolade of being the highest-scoring male freshman at Davidson College in the 2020 A-10 Conference Championship Meet. During his final year with the Wildcats. Sheldon ended his career as the team captain for the Men's Swimming and Diving Team and helped grow the program eight-fold within his last year. In his final meet with Davidson College, Sheldon secured a 12th-place finish on both 1M Diving and 3M Diving events at the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship, posting scores of 234.55 and 246.35 respectively. He left a legacy of ten divers during his four years with the program with two being Atlantic-10 Conference champions and four NCAA Zone qualifiers.
