Sports Dietitian
Sabine Krautgasser-Tolman started her role as a Sports Dietitian with the University of Utah in June 2022, working primarily with women’s basketball, soccer, softball, swim & dive, and men’s tennis. Before starting her career as a sport dietitian, Krautgasser was a student athlete at the University of Utah, competing for the Utah Ski Team from 2017-2020. While on the team, Krautgasser qualified twice for NCAA-National Championships and won two National Championships. Krautgasser received her master’s degree in nutrition and integrative physiology at the University of Utah in 2022, and her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Utah in 2020. She is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD). Sabine is originally from Innichen/San Candidio, Italy. Prior to joining the University of Utah, Sabine was member of the Italian National team, finishing on the podium three-straight years in the slalom at the Italian National Junior Championships (2014-16). She speaks fluently three languages, loves being outdoors either skiing or hiking, and serves as an associate professor at the University of Utah Nutrition and Integrative Physiology department.

Sten van Beurden is entering his seventh season as the Utah men’s tennis associate head coach in the 2024-25 season. Van Beurden and the Utes had a historic 2022-23 season as the Utes earned their first Pac-12 Regular Season title. Utah posted a 24-6 overall record and its second consecutive NCAA Appearance. The Utes also made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament with a 4-1 win over Old Dominion. He helped Geronimo Busleiman to a #38 ranking in the ITA singles and made an appearance in the NCAA Singles Tournament. He was integral in helping the Utes to their second straight NCAA Tournament appearance in 2019 with Dan Little becoming the first Ute to qualify for the NCAA Division I Singles Championships. Utah finished the 2018-19 season with a 17-12 overall record while garnering a top-50 national ranking and a No. 1 ranking in the ITA Mountain Region. Van Buerden and the Utes posted an 18-10 season in 2021 where the team finished ranked No. 50 in the Oracle/ITA final rankings. finished the year ranked No. 2 in the Mountain Region and had four Utes ranked in the top-20 for singles play with Franco Capalbo coming in ranked No. 3 and Geronimo Busleiman at No. 5 to lead the way, both of which were key international recruits Van Buerden helped bring to the U.
