Head Coach
A coaching veteran of more than 30 years, Greg Gard heads into his 11th season leading the Wisconsin men’s basketball program in 2025-26 and has proven himself to be one of the best head coaches in the Big Ten. A finalist for the Naismith National Coach of the Year in 2022, Gard has guided the Badgers to Big Ten regular season championships in two of the last six seasons. Gard was named Big Ten Coach of the Year in each of those title-winning campaigns (2020 and 2022). Wisconsin’s incredible postseason success hasn’t wavered on Gard’s watch either, qualifying for seven of the nine NCAA tournaments during his tenure (Big Ten automatic qualifier status in canceled 2020 Big Dance, due to COVID-19 pandemic). Video Coordinator
AJ Van Handel enters his 14th season serving as the video coordinator for men’s basketball and his 21st year on the UW staff in 2026-27 Van Handel also spent three seasons as the program assistant and was a team manager for four seasons with the Badgers prior to that. In his current role, Van Handel is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the team’s film and video needs, including opponent scouting, coordinating film exchange, managing the video room and assisting the coaching staff in breaking down game and practice film. In addition, he runs the day-to-day operations of the Badger Boys Summer Basketball Camps. In his first two seasons as the video coordinator at UW, Van Handel was on the bench for the Badgers' back-to-back Final Four teams. During those two campaigns Wisconsin posted a combined record of 66-12 (.846) and claimed both the 2015 Big Ten regular season and tournament championships. During his sixteen years at Wisconsin, the Badgers have won three regular season Big Ten championships, two Big Ten tournament titles, and have made 13 NCAA tournament appearances, including seven Sweet Sixteens. A native of Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, Van Handel earned his bachelor's degree in history and political science from Wisconsin in 2010. In addition to serving as a student assistant coach for two seasons at Ashwaubenon High School, Van Handel has worked the UW Boys Basketball Camps every summer since 2007.

Director of Game Day and Fan Experience, Brand Manager
Allison Doty-Minisce joined Wisconsin Athletics in 2015 as the Assistant Director of Marketing and Promotions. During her first three years, she oversaw marketing efforts for the Wisconsin volleyball and women's ice hockey programs. She transitioned in 2018 to serve as the primary marketing contact for the men's hockey program, marking her growing impact within the department. In 2022, she became the primary marketing contact for the men's basketball program, working closely with the brand team to deliver an exceptional in-game experience at a packed Kohl Center. The following year, she was promoted to Associate Director, taking on the role of marketing lead for the football program while continuing as Brand Manager for the men's basketball team. Notably, she is the first woman in Wisconsin Athletics history to oversee marketing for both men's basketball and football. Most recently, Doty-Minisce celebrated her promotion to Director of Game Day and Fan Experience. Now, she leads a talented team of four full-time staff members and 12 student interns as they create unforgettable game day moments and elevate the fan experience to new heights. Athletic Trainer
Brent Neuharth is in his eighth year with the Wisconsin Badgers, and the 2026-27 season will mark his sixth as the athletic trainer for the men's basketball program. Before joining Wisconsin men's basketball, he worked with the UW men's and women's track and cross country teams, during which the men's cross country team won three consecutive Big Ten championships. Prior to his time at Wisconsin, Brent worked six seasons in the St. Louis Cardinals minor league system, most recently with the AA Springfield Cardinals. Neuharth served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill working with the football and fencing teams. In 2014, he earned his master's degree in exercise and sports science/athletic training from UNC-Chapel Hill. In 2011, Neuharth earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison while studying athletic training and kinesiology. Neuharth and his family live in De Forest, Wisconsin.

Operations Coordinator
Eli Wilke enters his first season as the operations coordinator for Wisconsin men's basketball in 2025-26 after spending a year as a graduate manager for the program. Director of Recruiting and Scouting
Isaac Wodajo enters his third season in 2026-2027 as the director of recruiting and scouting on the coaching staff for the Wisconsin men's basketball program. During his two years in Madison, Wodajo (Wuh-Dah-Joe) helped the Badgers in high school and international recruiting, transfer portal recruiting, scouting opponents, film breakdown, and player development. In 2024-25, the Badgers won 27 games, three seed in the NCAA Tournament, Second Team All-American, John Tonje (53rd pick in the 2025 NBA Draft), and All-Big Ten performer, John Blackwell. The second season, 2025-26, Wisconsin finished 24-11 earning a 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament, while breaking school scoring records, including 3-pointers made in a single season and averaging a school record 83.0 points per game. The team featured Second Team All-Big Ten point guard, Nick Boyd, and Third Team All-Big Ten guard, John Blackwell. Over those two seasons, the Badgers were 51-21 overall (70.8%) and 27-13 (67.5%) in Big Ten play. This includes six top ten wins, with three on the road at #2 Michigan, #7 Purdue, and #8 Illinois. Nick Boyd became the first player since Michael Finley (1995) to average over 20 points per game, while also attaining the second most points for a UW player in a single season. A 20-year veteran of building Badgers into world-class athletes, Jim Snider enters his sixth season as the strength and conditioning coach of the Wisconsin men’s basketball team in 2026-27. Assistant Director of Basketball Operations
Lindsay Lovelace enters her sixth season as the assistant director of basketball operations for the Wisconsin men's basketball program after joining the program at the start of the 2021-22 season. Her last three seasons on staff also accounted for the three best single-season scoring averages in school history. Former Wisconsin standout Sharif Chambliss begins his sixth season coaching on the Badger bench in 2026-27. Chambliss returned to the program as an assistant coach under head coach Greg Gard in May of 2021. With nearly two decades of collegiate experience at five different schools, Chambliss has been part of 15 winning seasons, including 12 campaigns of 20-plus wins, six regular season titles and seven NCAA tournament appearances.
