Head Coach
Going into his 23rd season as head coach in 2025-26, Todd Oehrlein has molded the Wisconsin women’s golf program into one of the most consistently successful teams in the Big Ten and respected nationally. At the conference level, UW has finished sixth or better 11 times, including third in 2010-11 and four fourth-place finishes. Most recently, Kate Brody led the Badgers to a sixth-place finish and her own second-place performance in 2025. The Badgers have qualified for NCAA regionals as a team six times under Oehrlein. Prior to that, UW had qualified for postseason play as a team just three times since 1975. His teams account for the top 21 single-season averages in school history, including a program-best 291.77 in 2023-24 showcasing the team’s ongoing roster of talent. Two seasons ago, the Badgers reset the program record book in 2023-24 under Oehrlein, establishing new standards for 18 (270), 36 (560) and 54 holes (830). Chloe Chan tied the school record for 18 (65) and 36 (137) and set a new 54-hole record (202). Five of the top 10 season averages are owned by current Badgers Chan, Vanessa Ho, Carly Carter and Kate Brody. Wisconsin qualified for the NCAA Regional in 2018, finishing 9th as part of six-season streak of qualifying teams and individuals. Director of Mental Health & Sport Psychology
Dr. David Lacocque was hired as Director of Mental Health & Sport Psychology in December 2021. Lacocque oversees the delivery of mental health and sport psychology services provided to student-athletes. In this position, Dr. Lacocque provides psychological services (evaluation, treatment and education) to student-athletes and counseling, consultation, and educational outreach services to student-athletes, coaches, athletic trainers, academic, student development and other athletics staff in a collaborative effort to enhance the personal, academic, and athletic success of the University of Wisconsin - Madison student-athletes. Additionally, he is responsible for the development and implementation of philosophies, policies, and procedures of counseling and sport psychology service operations for student-athletes. Before joining the Badgers, Dr. Lacocque earned his doctoral degree in Chicago, IL from the Illinois School of Psychology. Since earning his degree in clinical psychology in 2001, Dr. Lacocque's professional activities have included 14 years as Senior Psychologist at UW-Madison's University Health Services, providing clinical supervision to pre-license clinicians, maintaining a private psychotherapy practice, serving as Peak Performance Specialist for Madison Futsal, and teaching a range of graduate and undergraduate courses in UW-Madison's School of Social Work, and Departments of Psychology and Counseling Psychology. Sports Operations Coordinator
Tracey Rosenfeld joined Wisconsin Athletics as a sports operations coordinator in 2022 and works with the Badgers' women's golf, men's rowing, women's rowing and lightweight rowing teams. Before joining the Badgers, Rosenfeld served as an assistant coach for women's gymnastics at Penn State University and the University of Arizona. Penn State named the Tracey Wilkinson-Rosenfeld Assistant Coaching Excellence Award in recognition of her dedication and effort in the program. Rosenfeld also served as visiting teams and coaches director at Woodward Camp in Pennsylvania for over twenty years which she continued during the summer after moving to Madison in 2006. In 2021, she took on a new role at UW Credit Union in Madison as a financial specialist in order to spend more time at home and be part of the Madison community. Rosenfeld also took up coaching gymnastics at Gymfinity Gymnastics in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. In collaboration with Gymfinity, Rosenfeld helped start the Dairy-Aire Gymnastics Invitational, an annual event that brings over 1,000 female gymnasts to Madison and raises funds for youth charitable organizations. A gymnast all her life, Rosenfeld took up rowing at Lorne Park High School in Mississauga, Ontario. Rosenfeld was born in Montreal, Quebec, and attended the University of Toronto where she competed in both gymnastics and rowing and graduated with a bachelor of physical health and education.
