In his first season as head coach in 2025, Sabins led the Mountaineers to a 44-16 overall record while winning the Big 12 regular season title and advancing to the the NCAA Super Regionals for the second consecutive season. WVU was in the top 25 throughout the year, finishing in the top 15 in multiple polls at season's end. After starting the year 13-0, WVU kept it rolling in conference play as they went 19-9 to clinch the outright regular season Big 12 trophy for the first time after splitting the title in 2023. Adam Grossman joined the WVU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in January of 2023, where he serves as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications and the primary media contact for the WVU baseball and men's soccer programs. Grossman joined the Mountaineers after working at Florida Gulf Coast University where he was the main media contact for the baseball, women's soccer, men's tennis, and swimming & diving programs as well as the secondary contact for men's basketball. Before FGCU, Grossman interned at Middle Tennessee working with the women's soccer and men's and women's tennis programs and was a graduate assistant in the media relations office at Murray State where he served as the contact for the baseball, volleyball, track & field and cross country teams and helped with the men's basketball program including future NBA Rookie of the Year Ja Morant. Grossman also worked a year at Misericordia University as the Assistant Director of Sports Information where he covered all 25 sports including the baseball team who made the Division III College World Series for the first time in school history. A native of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Grossman earned his bachelor's degree in Sport Management from St. John's University and a master's degree in organizational communications from Murray State. He currently resides in Morgantown.

Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator
Jacob Garcia enters his seventh season with the Mountaineer coaching staff in 2026, beginning as the team’s volunteer assistant in the summer of 2019. He was promoted to assistant coach and took over as the recruiting coordinator before the 2024 season. Garcia assists the team with daily activities, including the implementation of technology and data, camp functions and the recruitment of student-athletes, while working with hitters, catchers, and base running. Additionally, Garcia helps in the transition of including student-athletes coming to WVU. In 2025, Garcia helped WVU to a Big 12 regular season title and its second consecutive NCAA Super Regional appearance as the Mountaineers set a new program record with 44 wins. A number of players earned accolades including All-Big 12 first team for catcher Logan Sauve and pitcher Griffin Kirn. Sauve and Kirn were two of five players drafted after the season along with outfielder Kyle West, pitcher Robby Porco, and outfielder Skylar King. In 2024, Garcia and the Mountaineers earned a second consecutive NCAA Regional berth where they went 3-0 in Tucson to advance to an NCAA Super Regional for the first time in program history. After the season, Wet Virginia saw five of its players selected in the 2024 MLB Draft, led by JJ Wetherholt, who was taken 7th overall by the St. Louis Cardinals, the highest draft pick in program history. Jimmy Roesinger joined the Mountaineer coaching staff in the summer of 2023. In 2024, Roesinger and the Mountaineers earned a second consecutive NCAA Regional berth where they went 3-0 in Tucson to advance to an NCAA Super Regional for the first time in program history. Roesinger came to West Virginia from Air Force, we he served as an assistant coach since 2016 working with infielders as well as helping with the Falcons offense, base running, hitting, and recruiting efforts. In eight years at Air Force, Roesinger was the volunteer assistant from 2016-19 before being promoted prior to the 2020 season. In 2023, the Falcons finished third in the Mountain West, the highest they have finished since joining the conference and found themselves back in the tournament championship game for the second straight season. In 2022, he helped lead the Falcons to their first Mountain West title and first NCAA Regional appearance since 1969 while setting new program records in wins, hits, home runs, and runs scored. The 2021 season for the Falcons also saw them finish with their highest RPI finish (57) and most conference wins (18) in program history. Joey Cuomo was named the West Virginia University baseball program's director of operations in June 2022. Cuomo's responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operation of the program, organizing all aspects of the team's travel and coordinating community outreach work and fundraising opportunities. Jack Kartsonas was also named All-Big 12 in 2025, earning a spot on the second team while fellow pitchers Reese Bassinger and Chase Meyer were named honorable mention. In addition to Kirn, Robby Porco (13th round, Dodgers) and Jack Kartsonas (UDFA, Rays) signed professional contracts after the season. In 2024, Oney helped the Mountaineers to its first NCAA Super Regional appearance. Pitcher Derek Clark earned All-America status and was named to the ABCA All-East Region First Team and All-Big 12 First Team. Additionally he was named the Tucson Regional Most Outstanding Player. Prior to joining the Mountaineers, Stokes spent two seasons as an assistant clubhouse manager for the West Virginia Black Bears (2018-19). He also received his Master of Arts in Teaching (physical education) from West Alabama in 2016. While there, he served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. Rosier is certified by BOC Inc. and NPI. He also holds certifications in American Red Cross (CPR/AED, ARC Instructor) and has specializations in mental health First Aid, human movement, KAATSU BFR, OnBaseU pitching and hitting, and performance enhancement.
