After guiding the Mountaineers for the NCAA Championships during the 2023-24 season, Covich was named the 2024 Big 12 Conference Golf Coach of the Year and tabbed a finalist for the 2024 Dave Williams Award presented by Golf Pride Grips, given annually to the nation’s top coach. April Messerly is the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Capital Projects, Facilities and Event Management at West Virginia University, having joined the athletics department in 2000. Messerly was promoted to her current role in 2021. She previously served as the Associate Athletics Director for Facilities and Operations (2016-21), Assistant Athletics Director for Facilities and Operations (2013-16), Athletics Facilities Director (2009-13), Assistant Director of Athletics Facilities (2001-08) and Athletics Facilities Graduate Assistant (2000-01). In her current role, she also serves as administrator for golf and rowing. Messerly served as the gymnastics administrator from 2015-25. A native of Roanoke, Virginia, Messerly oversees the day-to-day operations for all of WVU’s athletic facilities, including Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium and the WVU Coliseum. She also serves as the Big 12 Conference game manager for WVU’s football and men’s basketball home games, works directly with the athletic department’s capital improvement projects and oversees all aspects of event management for WVU’s 18 varsity sports. In addition, Messerly is responsible for facility scheduling and planning the department’s master schedule for all facilities. She has served as the tournament director for numerous NCAA, Big 12, Big East, EAGL and EWL Championships that WVU has hosted. As West Virginia University's Associate Athletics Director for Communications, Bryan Messerly manages the day-to-day responsibilities of the WVU Athletics Communications Office. Messerly directs, plans and implements WVU's media relations and publicity through social media and news media for WVU's intercollegiate athletic program. He is the primary communications contact for the Mountaineer men's basketball and golf teams. Messerly is in his 32nd year with WVU's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. He is in his 26th season serving as the men's basketball publicist and 19th year of directing the WVU Athletics Communications Office. In his 25 years with the men's basketball team, the Mountaineers have made 13 NCAA Tournament appearances, including two NCAA Elite Eight appearances, seven NCAA Sweet 16 appearances, the 2010 NCAA Final Four and captured the 2010 Big East Championship title. During that time, WVU has appeared in four National Invitation Tournaments, including an NIT title in 2007. WVU has had 36 basketball players earn all-conference honors during Messerly's tenure, including 12 first-team selections (Big East and Big 12). Messerly has coordinated the promotion of six basketball All-Americans: In 2006, Kevin Pittsnogle became WVU's first men's basketball All-American since 1972. Graham Reger joined the West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in 2012 as an accounting assistant in the business office. He assumed the role of the director of business operations in May of 2018, and was promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Business Operations in September of 2024. In his current position, he oversees the department's day-to-day transactions and accounting for the athletic business office. Among his many financial duties, his unit is responsible for daily deposits, revenues and expenditures, sport camp finances and game operations accounts. Reger also assists the WVU men's golf program with its finances, team travel and daily operations. The Cross Lanes, West Virginia, native was a four-year letterman and two-year team captain of the golf team at West Virginia Wesleyan, where he earned his degree in business administration in 2008. He received his master's degree in sport management from WVU in 2018. Reger resides in Morgantown with his wife, Nina and son Max.

Steven Rosier arrived at West Virginia in August 2022 and serves as the associate director of athletic training and primary athletic trainer for the Mountaineer baseball team. Rosier came to WVU following a two-year stint at Central Michigan from 2020-22. At CMU, he was responsible for daily health care for the Chippewa football and baseball programs, including preventative care, immediate care, treatments, and rehabilitations. He also oversaw day-to-day operations of athletic training facilities and managed COVID-19 testing for all spring sports to meet conference, state, and national guidelines. Prior to that, Rosier worked at Lenoir-Rhyne University from 2017-20, as well as Lincoln Memorial University from 2016-17. A native of Montgomery, Minnesota, Rosier graduated Minnesota State-Mankato with a bachelor's of athletic training in 2014. He also received his Master of Arts in Teaching (physical education) from West Alabama in 2016. While there, he served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. Rosier is certified by BOC Inc. and NPI. He also holds certifications in American Red Cross (CPR/AED, ARC Instructor) and has specializations in mental health First Aid, human movement, KAATSU BFR, OnBaseU pitching and hitting, and performance enhancement.
