Stratford, who played for the Mountaineers from 2004-07, and served as an assistant coach at WVU from 2011-13, returned to Morgantown after a three-year stint as the head coach at the University of Charleston from 2017-19. While at UC, he compiled a record of 61-4-5 and led the Golden Eagles to a pair of Division II National Championships. It hasn’t taken long for him to elevate his alma mater as he has gone 55-18-22 in four seasons in Morgantown. In 2024, Stratford led WVU to both the Sun Belt Regular Season and Tournament titles for the first time in program history. The Mountaineers went 13-2-7 overall and 5-0-4 in the Sun Belt, finishing league play unbeaten. Assistant Director of Communications
Adam Grossman joined the WVU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in January of 2023, where he serves as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications and the primary media contact for the WVU baseball and men's soccer programs. Grossman joined the Mountaineers after working at Florida Gulf Coast University where he was the main media contact for the baseball, women's soccer, men's tennis, and swimming & diving programs as well as the secondary contact for men's basketball. Before FGCU, Grossman interned at Middle Tennessee working with the women's soccer and men's and women's tennis programs and was a graduate assistant in the media relations office at Murray State where he served as the contact for the baseball, volleyball, track & field and cross country teams and helped with the men's basketball program including future NBA Rookie of the Year Ja Morant. Grossman also worked a year at Misericordia University as the Assistant Director of Sports Information where he covered all 25 sports including the baseball team who made the Division III College World Series for the first time in school history. A native of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Grossman earned his bachelor's degree in Sport Management from St. John's University and a master's degree in organizational communications from Murray State. He currently resides in Morgantown.

In his nine seasons back at WVU, he has helped guide the Mountaineers to four conference titles, five NCAA Tournament berths, a trip to the College Cup, multiple weeks in the national rankings and numerous national athletic and academic honors. In 2024, Wright helped lead WVU to both the Sun Belt Regular Season and Tournament titles for the first time in program history. Noble, a First Team All-American in 2006, set numerous school records as a Mountaineer and joined the WVU staff following an 11-year professional career. As a four-year starter in goal at WVU from 2003-06, Noble set 17 career or single-season program records. In 2024, Noble helped lead WVU to both the Sun Belt Regular Season and Tournament titles for the first time in program history. Strength & Conditioning Coach
Tanner Kolb joined the Mountaineer athletic staff in August 2012, and was named Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning in December 2017. Kolb handles the strength and conditioning responsibilities for rifle, men's soccer and wrestling. In May of 2021, Kolb was named a Master Strength and Conditioning Coach (MSCC) by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa). The honor is the highest given in the strength and conditioning coaching profession. He arrived at West Virginia in 2012 after a one-year stint at East Carolina as an assistant strength and conditioning coach, where he designed and implemented specific programs for baseball, volleyball and tennis, as well as assisting with football. Prior to his tenure at East Carolina, Kolb spent three years as the head strength coach and adjunct professor at Waynesburg. While at Waynesburg, Kolb worked to design and implement programs in all sports, as well as teaching four classes. A native of Pittsburgh, Kolb turned in two stints as a prep strength and conditioning coach at Perry High (Okla.) in the summer of 2004, as well as Petoskey High (Mich.) and Charlevoix High (Mich.) from 2006-08. There, he contributed time at Northern Michigan Sports Medicine while lecturing and directing powerlifting and strongman competitions.
