Head Coach
Caroline Kelly was elevated to Interim Head Coach in July of 2024 before having the interim tag removed on Nov. 13 after a successful first season leading the Beaver soccer program. Kelly made an instant impact during her first season, which included notable improvements on both sides of the ball, a six-game unbeaten streak and three-win improvement compared to the prior season. The offense in 2024 improved its goalscoring total by 37.5%, finding the back of the net 22 times, while defensively the Beavers allowed eight fewer goals and had one of the best defenses during conference play, allowing 10 goals in 10 games, which tied for second-best in the WCC. Oregon State defeated No. 11 Santa Clara, 2-1, on Senior Day at Paul Lorenz Field, claiming the program's first win over a ranked opponent since Sept. 30, 2021. Having played No. 20 Pepperdine to a 1-1 draw the week prior, the Beavers claimed points against ranked opponents in consecutive games for the first time since 2012. Six players earned All-Conference recognition after the season ended, which featured Amaya Bautista being named WCC Defensive Player of the Year. McKenna Martinez was a Second Team All-Conference selection as Bautista, Juju Barker, Carly Carraher and Mya Sanchez were All-Conference Honorable Mentions and Hayden Wilson earned a spot on the All-Freshman team. 10 Beavers were also recognized when the conference announced its All-Conference Academic honorees. Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach
Janie Kearl joined the Oregon State Beavers as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in August 2022. Kearl is responsible for the design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, and Cross Country. Prior to Oregon State, Kearl was an Assistant Sports Performance Coach at the University of Kansas from 2019-2022 where she worked with the Women’s Soccer, Swimming, and Diving programs. She also previously served as a Strength and Conditioning Assistant at North Carolina State and completed internships with US Ski and Snowboard and The University of Utah in 2018. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. Janie, a Salt Lake City native holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Utah. While attending the University of Utah, she played on the Women’s Soccer team where she was a Pac 12 all-academic selection from 2015-2017.

Assistant Coach
Kwame Oduro officially joined the Oregon State coaching staff in February of 2025. He came to Corvallis after ten seasons as the head coach of the St. Bonaventure men’s soccer program, where the Bonnies won 49 games, had six Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team selections, two United Soccer Coaches All-Region honorees and four A-10 Academic selections. During the 2024 season, Oduro’s Bonnies went 2-2-1 against teams who competed in the NCAA Tournament, while his tenure also included a victory in 2017 over then-ranked No. 17 VCU to make the A-10 Playoffs for the first time in 10 years. In total, nine players went on to sign professional contracts, with several others earning professional trials. Prior to leading the SBU program, Oduro spent four years as an assistant at Canisius College, where he helped the Golden Griffins’ potent offense that ranked as high as No. 30 for scoring offense and received multiple top 25 votes. In 2014, the team set a school record for wins in a single season, which included eight shutouts, and Canisius twice received the NSCAA Academic Team Award with a team GPA of at least 3.0. He also coached at Nyack College and with the New England Revolution Empire Youth Club team. As a player, Oduro was a standout for the Niagara Purple Eagles from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, he captained the Purple Eagles to one of the most successful seasons in school history, placing second in the MAAC standings, the program's highest finish, and ranked fifth in the NSCAA North Atlanti
