Assistant Coach (Jumps, Sprints/Hurdles/Relays, Multi's, Pole Vault)
Courtney Jost joined Oregon State as a volunteer assistant coach for the track & field program in September 2018. In 2023, Jost coached Anneke Moersdorf and Delaney Bahn as they rewrote the school record book in the long and triple jumps. Moersdorf earned the school records in the outdoor long jump and both triple jumps while Bahn broke the indoor long jump record. Both athletes scored in the long jump at Pac-12s and Moersdorf placed fifth in the heptathlon. Moersdorf also set both the school records for the hepathlon and pentathlon during the season, finishing just a couple spots off NCAAs in each. In the sprints, Adael Scatena highlighted a strong year for OSU. The redshirt junior broke the school record in the 400-meter hurdles – her second record of the year – en route to a sixth-place finish and three points. All told, the Beavs recorded 25 new OSU Top 10 marks in the sprints, jumps and multis with Jost coaching or assisting with each group. The 2022 season saw continued improvement for the Beavers on the track with 14 new Oregon State top 10 marks. Emma Nelson highlighted the year by recorded the sixth-best mark in school history in the high jump with a 5-10 clearance indoors while Scatena ran the school’s third-best 200 meters. The Beavers had a historic outdoor track and field season during Jost's third season on staff. The 2020-21 Oregon State track and field team left an everlasting mark in the program record book, posting a combined 14 top-10 performances in school
